Facilities
We love to make sure you’ve got what you need to feel comfortable while you’re at the festival, so this page gives you the basics so you can spend less time hunting things down and more time enjoying yourself! If there’s anything not listed here that might be helpful, let us know via info@new-wine.org.

Toilets & Showers
TOILETS
There are plenty of toilets at various points across the campsite and central area, as well as accessible toilets. These are comprised of both temporary and hardstanding blocks.
SHOWERS
There are shower blocks within the campsite with plenty of showers, as well as accessible showers and a Mobiloo (shower with hoist – a changing places facility). These units are comprised of both temporary and hardstanding blocks.
In addition to the usual shower cubicles, we are excited to announce the return of the boutique shower blocks located across the site.
These blocks encompass male and female leisure-centre style changing rooms outside the shower units, creating a more spacious environment to change before and after showering and reducing queue times. There are also ‘changing pods’ in each changing room for extra privacy.
We’re proud to say that we exceed the number of toilets and showers expected of events of our size, but queues may still be busy at peak times.
NEW WINE RADIO
Pack your Radio to tune in to New Wine Radio (87.7) for programming throughout the week, including celebrations from the Big Top, breakouts, interviews, activities and more!
ACCESSIBILITY BUS
Our wonderful Accessibility Buggy Bus services run across the site throughout the event, from villages and day parking to the central site for those who require it.
There’s no ‘bus pass’, but we encourage everyone to be generous and ensure that those who require the bus can make use of it. Don’t forget to thank the driver!
EMERGENCIES & FIRST AID
Our teams are confident in managing any and all emergencies onsite. We operate a New Wine-specific emergency number to ensure we can get help to you quicker than a 999 call. Our First Aid teams are present in all venues and we have an onsite Medical Centre. For more info about how we keep you safe onsite, check out our Safety page.
CASH & CONTACTLESS
We are a virtually cash-free site. This means that some vendors and traders may accept cash, but all cafes and most other places only use card payments. We recommend that where possible you bring and pay with card. The nearest cash point is Tesco, Shepton Mallet.
ICE PACK EXCHANGE
You can exchange thawed ice packs each day for frozen ones to help keep food cool at our Ice Pack Exchange.
Only ice packs between 400-600g can be added to the pool, and we cannot guarantee that your ice packs are returned at the end of the week. In hot weather, demand may outweigh supply. Find out more about camping tips on our Accommodation page.
MEDICAL/MOBILITY CHARGING
Charging for mobility scooters and other medical/mobility equipment will be available for free in your local village hall – a community marquee in each coloured zone. Find out more about Village Halls on our Accommodation page.
PHONE CHARGING
Phone charging is available for campers in village halls, but all items left are at the owner's risk. We’d recommend ensuring batteries are charged and that you bring additional battery recharging packs with you, as charging items can’t be left unattended.
Battery packs for phone charging will also be available to rent from vending machines located around the site.
WI-FI
The site has limited 3G & 4G coverage. Your ability to connect will be affected by the number of people using it at any given time, so could be slow with lots of people onsite!
